Extended Edition and being part of a bundle

Hi everyone! Long time no update, I know.

Among several other projects left incomplete or saved for the future, I've been slowly working on creating a version of Stepping into the Oblivion closer to the original portuguese edition. But, just as it happened with my older game, I'm unable to translate the game without adding some minor, or not so minor, alterations. It has been almost a full year since the first draft of this game, and that's plenty of time to learn what could have been made better.

This to say, the translation took a lot longer than I was previously counting with. Add what seems like an incapacity to make the best use of Affinity Publisher's tools, and yeah....  Anyway, I'm pretty proud of this version of SitO, and personally it seems like it reached that point where it can be used easily for other ideas I have in mind for it. Like more game modes, or even further experimentalism. That also means that this Expanded Edition actually has a price, because hell knows I need financial help for those plans. On the bright side, there will be Community Copies, obviously, and the previous 2-page version is available as a demo (I wanted to make it PWYW  in the same page, but don't know how...)

So, what is new in this edition? Compared to the 2-page one, almost everything, since most things had to be cut or reduced to fit in such small size. That old version is now a decent handout for the players to have, though. Compared to the portuguese one, the steps required to prepare the game before playing it are much more clear now; there are Safety Tools (which I'm ashamed to have forgotten before); new random tables; better examples; new optional rules; and last but not least, a new mechanic which establishes a bond between two Travellers during character creation. I'd be happy to hear anyone's thoughts about these.

Before leaving, I also wanted to make you aware of a bundle where you'll find this new edition of Stepping into the Oblivion along with 9 other amazing games. I'm pretty proud of being among such awesome RPGs, which share one thing in common: they don't feature physical violence, or combat. Beyond that, you'll find games happening in malls, about tea, memories/time, among others; solo, GM-less or GM-led. I present you the Slice of Life bundle! https://itch.io/b/1513/slice-of-life

Thank you all for following me along this process, and I'm specially thankful to everyone who has been leaving 5-star reviews. You cannot even fathom how much they mean to me.  A big hug,

Dimitri K.
